This one is a bit hard. I don’t typically recommend laptops for gaming, although I have used one for years. Now I have a custom built computer and many gamers do use laptops, it’s just not something I would necessarily recommend. Nevertheless, here we are! WARNING – PRICES MAY RESULT IN CRYING GAMERS. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

MSI Computer Corp. GP60 LEOPARD-010;9S7-16GH11-010 15.6-Inch Laptop
You could go upgrade to the 17 inch screen of this laptop for another 50 bucks, but seeing as how we’re trying to be price conservative (as much as we can at least) on this tier, we’ll stick with this decent pick for tier 3!
$1,079.99
Alienware 14 ALW14-1250sLV 14-Inch Gaming Laptop (i5-4200M, 8GB Memory, 750GB Hard Drive, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M, DVD+/-RW, Bluetooth, Windows 7 Home 64-bit)
Some people may say otherwise but I’m definitely a fan of Alienware. I’ve experienced a couple gaming laptops made by them and they’ve never let me down. You should get a good bang for your buck going with them.
$1,369.99
ASUS ROG G750JM-DS71 17.3-inch Gaming Laptop, GeForce GTX 860M Graphics
I actually expected the last “Tier One” to be more pricey, but I was able to find this bat boy. This thing is a monster and the price is right. I’m happy with it as tier 1.
