What is your name?
Brittany
Where do you make money gaming?
Streaming on Twitch at Twitch.tv/Brittany
What games do you play/stream?
League of Legends, Minecraft, Ocarina of Time (speedruns) and some Hearthstone
How many followers do you have?
40,000 and growing!
How long have you been streaming?
A little over 2 years now
How long have you been gaming?
As long as I can remember. From Nintendo to Zelda to now.
How did you break into the Twitch Community?
Ocarina of Time speedruns and then League of Legends. Both were streamed from my Mac at that point, but I was obsessed.
When did you eventually switch over to a gaming PC?
Once I started playing League of Legends and realized how crappy my Mac was performing.
Did you build your own PC?
Yes, with the help of Destiny the StarCraft streamer. We actually built it live on stream and it was really great for viewership/followers.
From there did you continue streaming just Ocarina of Time and League of Legends?
Yes and no. I also started streaming Minecraft shortly after I built the PC and the community was just SO welcoming. People were raiding me and just constantly super friendly.
When did you get your first donation?
Way towards the beginning, but the donations were like 10 bucks here and there, nothing crazy.
What’s the coolest thing you’ve done for your stream?
I have a really in-depth stream schedule, but I also do on-stream games all the time, and even play with viewers.
Can you give us an example of a successful on-stream game you’ve done?
Well their was always a joke on-stream about having a boyfriend application because people always asked if I was single, so I eventually made an application as a joke. From there we turned it into a really fun game.
That was probably great for viewership interaction, was there a winner?
Yes, the interaction factor was key. We all voted after I cut down the 1000+ applications to a final 30. The winner got a custom T-Shirt that said “This is my Girlfriend” and an arrow pointing to my face.
To finish, are you streaming full time?
Yes, but I’m also a full-time college student as well. I would LOVE nothing more to continue streaming after college though, so we’ll see where this all takes me!
